Prior to Play
Each player is expected to understand these rules prior to participation in the tournament. Any questions concerning these rules should be directed to the TriBall Challenge staff.
Teams / Players
Each team must have four to six players on its roster who have registered their team by the entry deadline. Additions and/or changes to any roster must be approved by the TriBall Challenge management and completed prior to the start of a team's first contest of the tournament. No substitutions are allowed once a team's roster of six players has been filled without the prior written consent of the TriBall Challenge management. No substitutions are allowed once a team has played its first contest of the tournament without the prior written consent of the TriBall Challenge management. A player is allowed to participate for only one team for the duration of the tournament without the prior written consent of the TriBall Challenge management.
All players must sign in at the registration booth before their first contest. Each team must designate the team's captain on the score sheet prior to the start of each sport. The team captain will represent his/her team as a spokesperson at all times during the designated sport.
All games must start with four players on each team, unless the opposing team agrees to allow a team to play with only three players.
If a team does not allow the opposing team to play with three players, or if the opposing team has zero, one, or two players, the opposing team will forfeit that game.

The TriBall Challenge Staff reserves the right to disqualify any team for infractions of the following policies:
Use of illegal players - The players listed on the roster at the time an entry form is submitted are the only players eligible without the consent of the TriBall Challenge staff. The TriBall Challenge staff reserves the right to request identification from players at any time during the tournament. All participants are encouraged to bring picture identification to the tournament.
False information - Information provided on your entry form is the basis for division breakdowns. Any false information is grounds for disqualification.
ALL GAMES WILL BE “SELF-OFFICIATED”. The “self-officiated” games will consist of players calling their own fouls, penalties, and/or violations and the inactive team within a group of teams acting as the official during challenges between the two teams playing. For instance, when the red team is playing against the white team, the blue team will provide the challenge officiating. Inactive teams must designate two team members to officiate each game prior to the start of the game.
Any player on the court or field may call fouls, penalties and/or violations. A team may challenge any violation called by the opposing team. Challenges are directed toward the designated Challenge Official(s), who shall make a decision whether or not the violation call is valid. A valid challenge shall result in the loss of one challenge by the team requesting the challenge and an invalid (reversed) challenge shall result in a loss of one reversed call by the team that called the violation. Only one lost challenge and two reversed calls will be allocated to each team for each game. A team may not challenge any further violations called by the opposing team once a team’s allocation of lost challenges has been expended in a game. A team may not call any more violations once the team's allocation of reversed calls has been expended in a game.
